NOTES
Winter/pre spawn Fishing
Lake Sidney Lanier
Right now the seagulls are a big help in finding Stripers. Choosing the right bait can be a little tricky. What's working good is large shinners pulled on weighted and no weighted planer boards. Also trolling Capt Macks Mini Mack is working also. I troll them at 1.1to 1.5 mph with my trolling motor about 80 ft behind the boat which puts your rig about 20 ft deep. The striper pre-spawn is fast approaching so I throw in a nice fat gizzard shad on a planer float about 100ft behind the boat. Some good quality fish are being caught right now just not big numbers yet. Tight Lines ,and let's go catching. Thanks Captain Brad 🎣🎣🐟🐟💪🏼
